When your hero falls from grace,
All fairy tales are uncovered.

Myths exposed and pain magnified,
The greatest pain discovered.

You taught me to be strong,
But I'm confused to see you weak.

You said never give up,
And it hurts to see you welcome defeat.

When your hero falls so do the stars,
And so does the perception of tomorrow.

Without my only hero there is only
Me alone to deal with my sorrow.

Your heart ceases to work,
And your soul is not happy at all.

What are you expected to do,
When your only hero falls.

The Series of Three

Spanning five years of writing, The Series of Three has been one if the most demanding pieces of writing I have been involved with.

Below are links to each story in addition to brief summaries and rating descriptions for each.

Time Will Tell

Rated T for language, adult themes and violence

After a tragic injury, Bruce must make the long road to recovery with the help of family and friends.

The first in the Series of Three, this had originally been intended as being a single story.  Due to a strong desire to continued with the storyline in addition to requests for a sequel, I decided to develop a series of stories.

Life Is Good

Rated T for language, adult themes and violence

The Family draws together to fight old enemies and to make new additions.

Set mere months after the conclusion of Time Will Tell, the Family is adjusting to having Bruce behind the mask once more while he himself is trying to master balancing a life as a crime fighter and as a family man.

One And Only

Rated T for language, adult themes and violence

The Family faces danger once more, both in and out of their masks.

Four years after Life Is Good, the third installment of the Series of Three follows the family as each face major events that change their lives forever.

What Lies Ahead

Rated T for language, adult themes and violence

Following the dramatic changes the Family has faced, normalcy returns... but not for long.

The latest part of the Series of Three, What Lies Ahead is a work in progress.

"Triumph over tragedy,
Victory in the face of impossibility,
That is what a true hero is."
